Procedure to start Windows XP in Safe Mode

A Safe Mode is a feature in Windows Operating System that will help you diagnose and solve certain issues and problems, a common mistake that has prevented Windows to boot in normal mode can be resolve when you boot in Safe Mode.

Follow these simple steps to boot your Windows XP in Safe Mode

1. After turning On the computer, just before the Windows XP logo or Splash screen appears press the F8 on your keyboard until it brings you to Windows Advaced Options Menu.

2. Select Safe Mode and this will give you a Safe Mode version of Windows XP.

While in Safe Mode, most of the drivers and resources will not be loaded. A lower resolution desktop and most of USB and other peripherals will not work.
